A weak low‑pressure system is affecting the area, with another system and a colder air mass expected to move in on Sunday.

Today’s weather will be mostly clear, though patches of low cloud or light mist may appear early on. In the afternoon, increasing cloud cover could bring isolated showers, with a slight chance of a thunderstorm, mainly in the mountains. Winds will start light and variable at 3 Beaufort, later shifting to southwesterly to northwesterly and becoming generally moderate at 4 Beaufort. Seas will be calm to slightly rough. Temperatures will reach 29°C inland, 23°C on the west coast, 25°C on the remaining coasts and 18°C in the higher mountains.

Tonight will remain mostly clear, with areas of low cloud or light mist forming again. Winds will blow northwesterly to northeasterly, and southeasterly along the northern coast, at 3 Beaufort. Seas will stay calm to slightly rough. Temperatures will drop to 12°C inland, 14°C on the coasts and 8°C in the higher mountains.

On Friday, conditions will be mostly clear, though afternoon cloud may bring isolated showers, mainly in the mountains. Light dust may be present in the atmosphere. Temperatures will remain near the same levels, slightly above seasonal averages.

Saturday will turn mostly cloudy, with occasional light showers and a chance of a nighttime thunderstorm, mainly in the west and the mountains. Temperatures will edge down slightly.

Sunday will be mostly cloudy with periods of local showers and isolated thunderstorms. Temperatures will fall noticeably.
