CYPRUS – Monday’s forecast calls for mostly sunny conditions, with localized cloud buildup that may bring isolated showers to mountainous areas.
Winds will remain light to moderate, increasing to strong in southern coastal regions by late afternoon, reaching up to 5 Beaufort. Seas will remain slightly choppy.
Daytime highs are expected to reach 37 degrees inland, 30 on the west coast, 32 along other coastal areas and 27 in the mountains.
Authorities warn of an extremely high risk of wildfires across all forested regions.
On Tuesday, skies will remain mostly clear with scattered clouds. Temperatures are expected to drop slightly.
