On Tuesday, high cloud will continue at intervals. Winds will be variable before shifting later to mainly southwest to northwest, light to moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort. Seas will remain slight. Temperatures will reach 31 C inland, about 29 C on the south and east coasts, 25 C on the west and north coasts, and 21 C in the higher mountains.
Tuesday night will turn mostly cloudy with mid‑ and high‑level cloud. Winds will be mainly northwest to northeast, light at 3 Beaufort, and seas will stay slight.
From Wednesday through Friday, skies will start mostly clear, but cloud will build gradually. Isolated afternoon showers or a thunderstorm are possible, mainly over the mountains and the eastern half of the island.
Temperatures will drop noticeably on Wednesday, falling well below seasonal averages, then rise again through Friday.
