President Abdel Fattah El Sisi of Egypt met with Annita Demetriou, President of the House of Representatives of Cyprus, on February 25.
The meeting focused on regional and international developments, emphasizing the importance of respecting sovereignty and territorial integrity, adhering to international law, and resolving crises through peaceful means.
According to the Middle East News Agency (MENA), President El Sisi reiterated Egypt’s commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation with Cyprus in areas such as energy, trade, and investment.
He also highlighted the significance of ongoing consultations and coordination between Egypt, Cyprus, and Greece through their trilateral cooperation mechanism.
