Police arrested four people in Paphos on Sunday night during a coordinated operation aimed at preventing and combating organized crime, Police Spokesman Byron Vyronos said.
Speaking on state radio, Vyronos said the operation followed information that a meeting involving individuals known to law‑enforcement authorities would take place at a restaurant in central Paphos.
During checks at the location, officers found that four individuals were carrying large sums of cash and brass knuckles. All four were arrested. Vyronos said the suspects are foreign nationals who reside legally in Cyprus.
