French President Emmanuel Macron is now more unpopular than ever, an Ifop poll published on Sunday shows.
Only 21 percent of French people say they are satisfied with President Macron. 35 percent of respondents were dissatisfied with the president and as many as 44 percent were very dissatisfied.
Thus, almost 80 percent of French people are varying degrees of dissatisfaction with their president.
Macron, elected to his first presidential term in 2017, has persevered in leading France despite the political storms of recent years.
