In Greece, there is no end to the barrage of seismic vibrations in the Santorini maritime region.
Scientists have not concluded whether a stronger earthquake may occur or whether there will be a de-escalation through seismic tremors similar to those occurring and not exceeding 5 on the Richter scale.
The president of the Earthquake Planning and Protection Organization, Efthimios Lekkas, noted that seismic activity could last for months, reassuring people that the chances of an extreme scenario are “extremely remote.”
