Cyprus, Greece and Jordan Sign Joint Defence Action Plan

The “Joint Action Plan between Greece, Cyprus and Jordan” for the current year was signed in Nicosia a few weeks ago, as part of efforts to strengthen international cooperation between the armed forces of allied and friendly nations.

According to a statement issued by the Hellenic National Defence General Staff, the plan encompasses cooperation in the field of intelligence, the exchange of experience and expertise in aerial firefighting operations, participation in joint exercises and training activities, and the sharing of operational lessons and best practice in countering unmanned systems.

The signing, the statement said, confirmed the steady commitment of the three countries to deepening their military cooperation further, enhanced interoperability between their forces, and helped underline their role in promoting security and stability across the wider region.
