GAZA CITY — Hamas claims it has lost contact with two Israeli hostages following intense Israeli military operations in Gaza City.
“The connection with the two captives has been lost due to the brutal military operations and heavy bombardments in the Sabra and Tal al-Hawa areas over the past 48 hours,” the group said.
It is believed that around 20 of the remaining hostages are still alive. On October 7, 2023, Hamas abducted 251 Israeli hostages during its cross-border attack.
