LIMASSOL, Cyprus — Cyprus’ wine exports reached approximately €1.3 million in 2024, marking a 3% increase over the previous year, Energy Minister Giorgos Papanastasiou said at the opening ceremony of the 64th annual Wine Festival in Limassol’s Municipal Garden.
Representing the president, Papanastasiou highlighted the growing reputation of Cypriot wine in key international markets, including the United States, China, Israel, the United Kingdom and Australia.
He described the Wine Festival as a cherished tradition held annually in the welcoming and cosmopolitan city of Limassol, calling it one of the country’s most important wine-related events.
