FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE — A US-based human rights group reports that Israeli attacks on Iran have resulted in at least 639 deaths, with another 1,329 people wounded.
The figures, compiled by Washington-based Human Rights Activists, account for casualties across Iran.
The group says it has identified 263 civilians among those killed, including at least 154 members of the country’s security forces.
Human Rights Activists cross-checks local reports with its established source network inside Iran.
The organization has also previously published detailed figures on casualties during the protests following Mahsa Amini’s death in the custody of the morality police in 2022.
