Israeli forces launched air and artillery strikes across the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, coinciding with the second anniversary of the Israel-Hamas war.
Local reports said warplanes targeted residential areas in Gaza City, Khan Younis and refugee camps. At least 10 people were killed, according to Gaza’s Civil Defense.
Clashes were reported near Khan Younis, and Israeli media said Hamas militants fired mortars and anti-tank missiles, killing one soldier.
The attacks came as indirect cease-fire talks continued in Egypt. Hamas marked the anniversary by reaffirming its commitment to armed resistance.
