President of the northern Cyprus Restaurant Association (RES-BİR) Arif Bayraktar and Vice President Cemal Gülercan represented northern Cyprus cuisine at ITB Berlin, a premier tourism fair.
According to RES-BİR, local products highlighting the north of Cyprus’ gastronomic richness were presented and garnered significant attention, reports Kibris.
‘We continue our efforts to ensure that northern Cyprus cuisine receives the value it deserves. Introducing our traditional flavors on the world stage is a big step for the development of gastronomy tourism,’ Bayraktar said.
Vice President Gülercan added, “Our visitors were amazed by the unique tastes of Cypriot cuisine. Every product we offered, from our halloumi pastry to local desserts and dishes, attracted great attention. Our struggle to introduce Cypriot gastronomy to the entire world will continue.”
