FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – Construction will begin in September on the Cyprus Jewish Academy of Excellence, a €50 million international school in Polemidia, funded by the Yael Foundation.
Rabbi Yehoshua Smukler, who will oversee the institution, called the academy “a cornerstone for the Jewish community in Cyprus.”
Set to open in 2027, the school will accommodate 1,500 students, offering primary and secondary education under international standards.
Plans include modern classrooms, labs, a library, sports facilities, and places of worship.
