Police arrested a 62-year-old man yesterday under a court warrant as part of an investigation into eleven cases involving conspiracy to commit a felony, obtaining money by false pretences, forgery, circulating forged documents and other related offences.
The cases under investigation concern offences allegedly committed between 2022 and 2024 in the Larnaca district, with the total sum said to have been misappropriated amounting to €12 million.
The 62-year-old is expected to appear before Larnaca District Court today, where police will seek a remand order.
