A 44‑year‑old man died and a 32‑year‑old woman was critically injured after being found unconscious in the basement of a restaurant near Petra tou Romiou in Paphos, authorities said.

According to reports, the restaurant owner alerted police on Sunday morning after discovering the pair — the male employee and an unidentified woman — lying unconscious in the basement area where they had been staying.
