A criminal case against a 43‑year‑old man accused of exploiting Greek Cypriot properties in the occupied areas is being filed Monday before the Nicosia District Court for referral to the Criminal Court.
The suspect, a Hungarian national, was arrested on April 1.
According to the allegations under investigation, he is believed to have been involved in the sale and purchase of immovable property in the north.
The charges he faces include conspiracy to commit a felony, conspiracy to commit a misdemeanor, fraudulent transactions, deception, and money laundering, as well as obtaining registration through false representations.
