Solidarity events in support of Palestinians were held Sunday in Nicosia, Larnaca and Paphos, organized by the online group “United for Palestine.”
In Nicosia, the gathering began at 4 p.m. in Eleftheria Square, followed by a march along Ledra Street that looped back via Onasagorou Street.
In Larnaca, demonstrators assembled at 6 p.m. in Europe Square near the Finikoudes promenade. In Paphos, the event started at 5:30 p.m. in the Town Hall Square.
Police were present at all locations to ensure the events proceeded smoothly and to assist the public.
