Usha Vance, wife of Vice President JD Vance, is also expected to visit Greenland during the same period, according to the Greenlandic newspaper Sermitsiaq. Her itinerary reportedly includes attending a dog sledding race in Sisimiut.
This marks the first visit by high-ranking American officials since Donald Trump Jr.’s brief trip to Greenland in January. President Trump has previously expressed interest in acquiring Greenland, a stance that has sparked strong reactions from several nations.
