FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – The Informal Expanded Meeting on the Cyprus Problem wraps up today with bilateral talks and a plenary session at the Palais des Nations.
Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides will meet British Foreign Secretary for European Affairs Stephen Doughty at 10:40 a.m. Cyprus time, followed by talks with UN Secretary-General António Guterres. The Secretary-General will also meet Turkish Cypriot leader Ersin Tatar, Greek Foreign Minister Giorgos Gerapetritis, and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.
Christodoulides is joined by a delegation including Foreign Minister Konstantinos Kombos, Deputy Minister for European Affairs Marilena Raouna, and National Security Advisor Tasos Tzionis.
The talks aim to advance dialogue on the decades-long Cyprus issue, with discussions focusing on cooperation and potential pathways to resolution.
