Saudi Arabia is providing Yemen with $150 million worth of oil derivatives to help keep power stations running across the country.
The Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen said the shipment will cover diesel and mazut needs in several governorates.
It said the aim is to stabilize electricity supplies, support basic services and ease pressure on Yemenis.
The program, created in 2018 under a development agreement between the Saudi and Yemeni governments, said the assistance is intended to strengthen essential services and support economic activity.
