FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – Search efforts are underway to locate a 35-year-old Polish tourist who went missing after departing from Latchi on a rented inflatable boat Tuesday morning.
The unmanned boat was discovered adrift near Argaka, approximately 200 meters from the shore, early Tuesday afternoon, prompting authorities to activate the National Plan ‘Nearchos.’
The operation involves two helicopters from the police and National Guard, a Coast Guard helicopter, Civil Defense volunteers, members of the Paphos Police Department, and a drone.
Efforts to locate the missing tourist continue intensively by air, sea, and land.
