Teenager pleads not guilty to three murders in Southport

The teenager accused of killing three girls with a knife in the British town of Southport in July has pleaded not guilty, Reuters news agency reports.

He has also pleaded not guilty to making the toxin ricin, and to possessing a training manual from the terrorist group Al Qaeda.

The 18-year-old is also charged with terrorism and for producing the deadly poison ricin.

The attack led to several riots and demonstrations throughout the United Kingdom.
