A majority appears to be leaning towards banning TikTok in the country from January 19, according to The Washington Post.

The state has argued that the video sharing service under its Chinese parent company Bytedance is a threat to national security.
Today, the issue was heard in the Supreme Court. The judge’s ruling indicates that they will uphold the law to shut down TikTok in the United States.
TikTok’s lawyers in the United States believe that the law is a major restriction on freedom of expression.
