A Larnaca criminal court on Thursday sentenced a 45‑year‑old man and a 33‑year‑old man to five years in prison after finding them guilty of an arson attack committed last July.
The case concerned an incident in the early hours of 3 July 2025, when someone in a passing vehicle threw two Molotov‑type firebombs into the yard of a 70‑year‑old man in the Larnaca district. A fire broke out but was extinguished by the homeowner.
The investigation was carried out by the Larnaca CID.
