The International Criminal Court has dismissed Israel’s final appeal against arrest warrants issued for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant.
The ICC originally issued the warrants citing “reasonable grounds” to believe the two officials bear criminal responsibility for alleged war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
Israel’s initial appeal was rejected in July.
A subsequent challenge to that decision has now also been denied.
The court’s ruling marks a significant step in the ongoing legal proceedings, though further jurisdictional challenges may still be considered.
