Cyprus presented its experience and policies on cancer prevention and treatment at the Commonwealth Health Ministers Meeting in Geneva, Health Minister Neofytos Charalambides said.
According to the Health Ministry, cancer‑control strategies were the central focus of the forum.
The minister participated in two thematic sessions, addressing the shift from scientific evidence to national cancer‑control plans and the financing of cancer care.
The ministry said Charalambides outlined Cyprus’ actions and progress in cancer prevention and management, and exchanged views with other delegates on best practices and modern approaches to health‑policy design and implementation.
