A man has died after jumping from an apartment balcony during an Immigration Service operation that turned chaotic in Larnaca.
Three foreign nationals leapt from the building in an attempt to evade arrest. One of them, who suffered a severe head injury, died after being hospitalized in critical condition.
The other two, all from the Democratic Republic of Congo, remain at Larnaca General Hospital with non‑life‑threatening injuries.
The incident occurred yesterday morning. All three were taken to the hospital by ambulance.
