The interior minister has announced about €11 million in additional subsidies for state housing programs.
The funding is intended to cover another 277 young people and couples under 41 who applied to the Housing Scheme for financial assistance.
The minister said the decision reflects strong demand from applicants and a higher-than-expected number of submissions.
The scheme is part of the government’s broader housing policy, which focuses on increasing the housing stock and strengthening citizens’ purchasing power.
