The Public Works Department has announced a series of overnight roadworks this week affecting sections of the Larnaca–Paralimni and Larnaca–Nicosia highways.
Larnaca–Paralimni Airport Highway (Thursday, 12 February) From 8 p.m. Thursday to 5:30 a.m.
Friday, crews will carry out periodic maintenance on the exit to Aradippou, between the Kalo Chorio and Rizoelia roundabouts. The Aradippou exit will be closed, and traffic will be diverted through the Rizoelia roundabout with temporary signage.
Larnaca–Paralimni Airport Highway (Monday, 16 February)
On Monday from 8 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., both eastbound lanes toward Paralimni will close for roughly 3 km, from the Livadia exit to the Voroklini exit, for resurfacing works.
Traffic will be diverted to the opposite carriageway, which will operate with two‑way flow. The Livadia exit will remain closed, with access routed through the Voroklini exit.
Larnaca–Nicosia Highway (Monday, 16 February)
Also on Monday, between 9:30 a.m. and noon, the left lane of the A2 near the Agia Varvara exit will close for the relocation and reinstallation of a road sign. Traffic will be directed to the right lane.
