Tax Commissioner Sotiris Markides has granted a 15-day extension for submitting 2024 tax returns, moving the deadline to Oct. 15.
The decision was made in coordination with the finance minister. Approximately 90% of individuals required to file based on gross total income have already submitted their returns.
Taxpayers are reminded that after the deadline, a €100 fine will be imposed, along with interest if any tax is owed.
