Cyprus: Paphos ER Serves 400 Patients in First Month

The Emergency Department at Paphos General Hospital has treated more than 400 patients since opening a month ago.

The department operates under a management model first introduced in Nicosia at the end of March, which has yielded encouraging results.

Rapid Patient Transport Clinics — like the one in Paphos — will be launched in July at hospitals in Larnaca, Limassol and Ayia Napa under the State Health Services Organization.
