FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – Authorities in Cyprus conducted a coordinated raid Thursday on a property in Paphos, seizing multiple packages of cannabis-related substances and arresting the 36-year-old owner, police said.
Officers from the Drug Enforcement Service, Electronic Crime Sub-Directorate, and Paphos Central Police Station carried out the operation following an assessment of information.
Police said they confiscated nine packages containing cannabidiol (CBD), which lacks marketing authorization in Cyprus, as well as three packages of cannabinol (CBN) in liquid form and 21 packages of dried cannabis plant matter weighing approximately 24 grams.
The seized items were sent for further scientific examination.
Investigations are ongoing.
