Authorities in Cyprus have been mobilized after the escape of a prisoner who was hospitalized under guard at the Nicosia General Hospital.
The 39-year-old man from Romania was arrested for theft and was taken to the hospital yesterday because he had health problems.
Details about the prisoner’s escape have not yet been released.
Just a few weeks ago, a 49-year-ols Swedish man escaped from a private clinic in Larnaca, where he had been under custody.
