Cyprus President Nikos Christodoulides is traveling to Athens on Thursday to inaugurate a new branch of the University of Nicosia in the Greek capital.
Christodoulides will tour the university’s facilities before delivering remarks at an opening ceremony.
Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis is also scheduled to attend and address the event.
The president will be accompanied by Cyprus Education Minister Athina Michaelidou, Deputy Government Spokesman Yiannis Antoniou and senior officials.
