FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – A recent survey conducted for Sigma TV in Cyprus shows that 48% of voters who supported President Nikos Christodoulides in the 2023 elections would not vote for him again.
The Politis newspaper headlined its report “Nikos Christodoulides One-Term President,” indicating growing disappointment with his administration.
The survey also reveals that 65% of all participants believe Christodoulides should not be re-elected. Furthermore, 60% of respondents feel that he has failed to fulfil his pre-election promises.
Only 25% of participants have a positive view of the government’s performance, while 74% feel it does not meet expectations.
Conducted by Prime Consulting Ltd. between February 20 and 28, the survey coincides with Christodoulides’ second year in office.
