The Cyprus taekwondo federation has arrived in the United States for an educational training program.
The trip, scheduled to run until 19th April, includes stops in New York and Florida, where athletes and coaches will attend seminars and train with international instructors and practitioners.
Officials said the delegation will also exchange knowledge with overseas teams as part of efforts to strengthen the federation’s global presence.
A highlight of the visit will be a meeting with taekwondo Grand Master Jae Hwa Kwon.
Team coach Petros Agamemnonos said the program will give participants valuable experience and a deeper understanding of the discipline’s philosophy.
