FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – The United Nations’ personal envoy for the Cyprus issue, María Ángela Holguín, met with Turkish Cypriot leader Ersin Tatar on Thursday morning in a discussion that lasted approximately one hour and 15 minutes.
Holguín described the meeting as “very good,” noting that efforts continued to set the stage for productive talks in July. She expressed satisfaction with her meetings in Cyprus this week.
The UN envoy announced she would meet with President Nikos Christodoulides, on Friday afternoon, followed by a luncheon with representatives from both commercial chambers.
