French President Emmanuel Macron described Israel’s attack on Nasser Hospital as “unacceptable,” according to a post on X. “The media must be able to carry out its work freely and independently to report the reality of the conflict,” Macron wrote.
“A permanent ceasefire, release of hostages, large-scale delivery of humanitarian aid, and a lasting political solution that includes the disarmament of Hamas are necessary,” he added.
Germany’s Foreign Ministry also criticized the attack. It said it was “shocked by the killing of several journalists, rescue workers and other civilians.”
