A 44‑year‑old man was stabbed outside a kiosk on Prodromou Avenue in Nicosia after an argument with another man, police said Tuesday.
The victim told officers that an unknown man who had been loitering outside the kiosk earlier in the morning attacked him with a knife following a verbal dispute. He suffered injuries to his hand and abdomen.
The 44‑year‑old was taken first to a private hospital and later transferred to Nicosia General Hospital, where he was admitted for treatment.
