Paphos is moving toward full operational capacity for the new tourism season, with nearly all hotels and major tourism facilities now functioning, the Paphos Regional Board of Tourism (Etap) has said.

Most hotels in the district have begun reopening, marking the formal start of the season.

Etap noted that Paphos continues to rank among Cyprus’ most in‑demand destinations, drawing steady interest from European travelers and repeat visitors who favor the district’s beaches, cultural sites and mild climate.

By the end of March, about 25,000 of the region’s 30,000 hotel beds were available, signaling a broad restart across the hospitality sector.

Airport operations are also running smoothly.

Roughly 95 percent of scheduled flights are operating as planned, Etap said, adding that Paphos International Airport remains one of the island’s strongest gateways, offering extensive low‑cost and regional connections that support year‑round tourism.
