A weak high‑pressure system is affecting the area, with a weak low‑pressure pattern expected to develop on Thursday. Periods of dust are forecast in the atmosphere from Friday, the Meteorological Service said.
Thursday will start mostly clear before becoming partly cloudy and at times mostly cloudy. Winds will be northeast to southeast at 3 to 4 Beaufort, reaching 4 to 5 Beaufort in wind‑exposed areas. Seas will be calm to slight, becoming locally slight later. Highs will reach 18°C inland and on the west coast, 19°C on the remaining coasts and 12°C in the mountains.
Cloud cover will increase Thursday night, mainly from mid‑ and high‑level clouds, with isolated light showers possible. Winds will remain northeast to southeast at 3 to 4 Beaufort, locally 4 to 5, and seas slight to locally slight to moderate later.
Friday and Saturday will be partly cloudy with local showers and a chance of an isolated storm, improving significantly by Saturday afternoon. Sunday will be mostly clear with some local cloud.
Temperatures will hold steady Friday, rising gradually through Sunday to above seasonal averages.
