The Paphos municipality continues to operate without disruption, Acting Mayor Angelos Onisiforou said in a statement on Wednesday.
He said serving residents remains the administration’s top priority.
Onisiforou expressed regret over recent public reports and the situation that has unfolded, adding that he has full confidence in the justice system and state institutions, which he said are solely responsible for investigating the matter.
