FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – Phil Collins has been hospitalized for a scheduled knee operation, his representative said Monday, dismissing online rumors that the musician had been admitted to hospice care.
Social media speculation about Collins’ health surfaced last week.
A spokesperson clarified that the 74-year-old former Genesis frontman underwent a routine procedure and is recovering.
Collins has previously spoken about his health challenges, including a spinal injury in 2007 that led to lasting nerve damage and mobility issues.
He retired from touring after his final performance in 2022.
