FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – Thousands of demonstrators blocked roads and bridges in Budapest on Tuesday evening to protest a new law banning pride events and other LGBT-organized celebrations.
The protests shut down several main thoroughfares and three bridges in the Hungarian capital.
This marks the second demonstration in a week, following the ruling party’s swift passage of the law using its parliamentary majority.
