The Tiganokinisi caravan will visit 22 schools in the Larnaca district from February 25 to March 15, 2025.
The program aims to inform and educate students interactively about recycling used cooking oil, energy, water, and composting.
Equipped with hands-on experiments, the caravan provides students with experiential learning opportunities to understand the importance of these practices.
Tiganokinisi is an educational program operating in over 500 schools in Cyprus, collecting used frying oil and converting it into biodiesel.
Since its inception in 2011, the program has collected over 900 tons of used oil and returned over €500,000 for developing green infrastructure in schools.
