The “Kourion 2030” organization is gearing up for the crucial next phase in their bid for the European Capital of Culture 2030 title.
Having submitted their candidacy on December 13, the Kourion 2030 team will present their vision to the twelve-member Selection Committee this morning.
This presentation will spotlight the city’s cultural development strategy and key programs aimed at enhancing both the local and international cultural scene.
With the motto “A City Yet to Be,” Kourion’s candidacy emphasizes culture as a catalyst for sustainable development, social cohesion, and cross-border cooperation.
Kourion aims to showcase its cultural heritage, promote new creative initiatives, and forge an innovative and inclusive cultural future.
The pre-selection process concludes on February 27, when the Commission will announce the cities advancing towards the European Capital of Culture title.
