FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE: A 25-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a car theft that occurred between January 24 and 25, 2025, in Limassol.
Police officers on motorized patrol shortly after midnight noticed a car without front registration plates, driven by a man with his face covered.
When signaled to stop, the driver attempted to leave the scene, before abandoning the car and attempting to flee on foot.
He was pursued and arrested by police, during which he resisted and attacked an officer.
Further checks revealed the man had three outstanding arrest warrants.
The investigation is ongoing.
