Cyprus Weather – Wednesday 17 June

Wednesday will be mostly clear, with some increased cloud after midday.

Winds will start as light sea breezes at 3 Beaufort, becoming southwesterly to northwesterly at 3 to 4 Beaufort, and moderate to strong at 4 to 5 Beaufort along windward coasts in the afternoon. Seas will be calm to slight, becoming slight later along exposed coasts. Temperatures will reach 36°C inland, 29°C on the west coast, 32°C on the remaining coasts and 27°C in the higher mountains.

On Thursday, most areas will see mainly clear weather with periods of increased cloud, and isolated showers may develop over the mountains after midday.

Friday and Saturday will bring periods of increased cloud, with local showers and isolated thunderstorms expected after midday, mainly over the mountains and inland.

Temperatures will gradually dip through Saturday before briefly returning to near seasonal averages.
