Police announced a series of security and traffic measures ahead the first‑division football match between Omonia Nicosia and Apollon Limassol at GSP Stadium.

The match begins at 7 p.m., with gates opening at 5:30 p.m.

Police urged fans to arrive at least an hour early, warning that late arrivals may enter after kickoff. Children’s tickets will be subject to checks, and ID may be requested. All spectators must present both a Fan Card and a valid match ticket.

Omonia supporters

Omonia fans will occupy the west, north and east stands and are advised to approach the stadium via Spyrou Kyprianou Avenue and the Orphanides traffic lights. Parking for home supporters will be available in the west and north lots. Ticket booths for Omonia fans will open at 5:30 p.m.

Apollon supporters

Apollon is under a fan‑travel ban imposed by the sports judge. Only 40 listed individuals will attend, seated in the south stand, with parking in the south lot.

Prohibited items and conduct

Police said the following rules will be strictly enforced:

  • Entry only with a Fan Card and valid ticket.
  • No flares, firecrackers or dangerous objects.
  • No alcohol inside or outside the stadium.
  • No political, offensive or provocative banners or clothing.
  • No graffiti or slogan writing in or around the stadium.
  • No backpacks, motorcycle helmets or face‑covering items.
  • No climbing on stadium railings.
  • No stopping or parking along Fthiotidos Street after the third training pitch; violations will be fined.

Anyone violating the rules may be removed without warning, even if holding a valid ticket, and may face arrest and fines. Personal‑item collection points for both clubs will be located at the west ticket booths.

Parking is prohibited at the new Nicosia–Limassol highway roundabout near GSP and on road shoulders in the surrounding area. Offenders will be reported.

Police will maintain a presence inside and around the stadium to ensure safety and manage traffic before and after the match. For assistance, the public may contact Nicosia Police at 22‑802020, the Citizen Line at 1460, or emergency services at 112.
